At his lack of reaction, she suddenly laughed. "It's not very intimidating is it? How in the world did I raise a set of twins that turned out so well when I couldn't scare a fly?" She knew she could be intimidating. She knew that Alec had no reason to be intimidated by her... but she still had to wonder. How did she raise two beautiful children?
"I hope you're right, Alec. I hope..." Leaning in closer, she kissed his lips softly. Licking and nipping at his lips, she reached up to cup his face and slowly trace his face. Humming against them, she finally pulled back and lowered her hands down to his chest. "I love you. You make the world easier to swallow after being disillusioned for so long." It felt a little like being reborn and starting over.
Returning his kiss, she smiled with a purr for the nibbling. "I don't know, darling... I'm thinking that's intensely masochistic. You found your own Herondale in this life. Like you missed Will or something. And I hate to say it.. he's worse than Will. Sorry, love." Laughing, she moved in to kiss him again licking at his lips. "You make me a better person, Alexander..."
Laughing softly at that, she nodded firmly. "Good. Cause I won't back down till you agree. You made my life easier." Winking at him, she suddenly shivered at the rubbing of her stomach. Closing her eyes slowly, she purred deeper and happier as he touched her. "Alec... You're just as bad if not worse with that one. So I don't feel bad."
Huffing a laugh at the answer to 'helping or watching' she opened her eyes and arched a brow at him. Slipping her fingers over his, she hooked his fingers into the bra straps and guided them to peel it away. Not finishing, she lowered her hands down her stomach to the worn jeans almost hanging off her hips. Slowly opening the fly, she hummed a soft sound. "Nothing specific... just that being held and touched by you has always been calming."
