"You need to laugh more." It was something Izzy was always complaining about in regards to him but for him, it was just his nature to be quieter. Magnus had grieved for decades. She needed laughter in her life after so much heartache.
"Being smothered in love counts as being outnumbered." Letting out an exaggerated sigh, he gently rubbed her stomach, eyes bright with happiness. "And everyone in the house will probably have magic except me."
His mock annoyance turned to curiosity as Magnus trailed her fingers along his arms. "Touching me really makes it better?" Even as he asked that question, there was a hint lingering at the back of his mind. "It's always been that way? Your nightmares and headaches used to get better if I was holding you? If it makes you feel better, then cling as much as you want. I want to have you close."
Eyes crossing slightly when Magnus kissed his nose, he gently nipped her lips as she pulled away. "Life is always exciting with you, Magna. Even without those memories, I know that's true. If you want more than just kissing in the rain, we can find a way to make it happen."
Wrapping an arm around his love, Alec curled around her so they were as close a possible. "Or maybe I've been traumatized by Izzy's weird umbrellas." Kissing her neck, he pressed his cheek to her hair. "Would we be able to keep them from visiting at embarrassing times?"
