Drifting away, she felt like she could possibly sleep for a week. But Alec talking to her had her trying harder to stay focused. Humming a soft sound at his demand she not die, her lips actually managed a tiny upward curl. "I don't plan on it."
No one died from utter exhaustion. Not usually. Moving her hand from her hair, she curled it softly over Alec's. "Just need sleep." Her thumb barely moved, but it slid along the side of his hand. Not much of a rescuer at this point.
Idly she attempted the motions of squeezing his hand, but it was faint and with little strength. "Alec... I won't leave you." Not if he wished for her to stay. And she'd do all she could to keep him safe for as long as she was allowed to live.
